GREEN ELECTRICITY FROM RUN OF THE OCEAN BELOW MSL

DEAR SIR KINDLY NOTE THE DIFFERENCE.

1) PUMP STORAGE SYSTEM.

THIS IS PURELY BASED WITH THE HYDRAULICS PRINCIPLES APPLIED FOR LIFTING THE WATER FROM A BASE RESERVOIR TO THE TOP

RESERVOIR IN OFF PEAK HOURS WHEN THERE IS NO COMMERCIAL LOAD ON THE GRID .

WATER RUNS DOWN FROM A HEIGHT AND IMPINGES A HYDRO TURBINE PLACED UNDER THE WATER FALL AND AS THE TAIL POND

GETS FILLED WATER IS LIFTED UP SO THAT THE TOP RESERVOIR CAN GET FILLED ONCE AGAIN.

 IN THIS PUMP STORAGE ELECTRICAL GENERATION THERE WILL BE TWO RESERVOIRS ONE RESERVOIR IS ON TOP OF A HILL AND

THE SECOND RESERVOIR IS AT THE VERY BOTTOM OF THE HILL.

IN THIS THE ELECTRICAL GENERATION AND PUMP CONSUMPTION WILL ALWAYS MATCH AND BE THE SAME BECAUSE THERE WILL BE

ONLY ONE STAGE OF GENERATION, ONLY ONE POWER HOUSE, ONE TURBINE ETC . AS THERE IS ONLY ONE STAGE POWER

GENERATION THE ENTIRE HEAD IS UTILIZED ON ONE GO BECAUSE THE HEIGHT IS LIMITED, THE  POWER GENERATION IS ALSO

LIMITED.

ONCE THE WATER IS RELEASED FROM TOP RESERVOIR WATER RUNNING DOWN  HAVE A HEAD , THIS HEAD IS UTILIZED AND POWER

IS GENERATED THERE BY WATER RUNS INSIDE THE TAIL POND.

THERE IS  LIMITED WATER AND THE LIMITED WATER WILL NOT RUN DOWN INSIDE A UNDERGROUND RIVER FOR LONG DISTANCES.

THIS IS THE STORY OF PUMP STORAGE POWER PLANTS.

WORKING FOR PEAK HOURS IS THE IMPORTANT POINT OF PUMP STORAGE SYSTEM
2)  CASCADING MARINE HYDRO ELECTRICAL GENERATION.
THIS IS PURELY BASED WITH THE APPLICATION OF 3 DIFFERENT TECHNOLOGIES IMBEDDED INTO JUST ONE SIMPLE TECHNOLOGY.

POINT ONE : RESERVOIR GENERATION

A VERTICAL WELL OF 120 METERS DEPTH AND 250 METERS IN DIAMETER  ACTING AS A HYDRAULIC HEAD.

KIND NOTE: (20 METERS DEEP OCEAN WATER + 100 METERS DEEP WELL HAVING 250 METERS DIAMETER)

120 METERS HYDRAULIC HEAD ON TOP OF THE UNDERGROUND RIVER.


POINT TWO:  RUN OF THE RIVER GENERATION

A SLANTINGLY SLOPPILY UNDERGROUND RIVER STARTING FROM THE VERY BOTTOM OF THE WELL.

THE MAN MADE UNDERGROUND RIVER INLET TO OUTLET WILL BE 100 METERS AND 40 KILOMETERS IN LENGTH.

THE 100 METERS DIAMETER UNDERGROUND RIVER WILL GET ALL THE HYDRAULIC THRUST AND PRESSURE WITH THE 120 METERS

DEEP WELL.

A WHIRL POOL WILL BE FORMED ON TOP OF THE WELL AND AIR AND WATER WILL BE SUCKED INSIDE BECOMING A CENTRIFUGAL

FORCE WHILE THE WATER IS TRAVELING DOWN THE WELL AND ENTERING INTO THE UNDERGROUND RIVER.


POINT THREE:

THE VERY FIRST INDEPENDENT POWER GENERATION UNIT IS ERECTED JUST UNDER THE WELL AND AT -130 METERS

 (10 METERS BELOW THE WELL).

POINT FOUR:

THE POWER GENERATION INDEPENDENT UNITS ARE ALWAYS ARRANGED IN CASCADING ARRANGEMENT IN STEP DOWN MODEL, ONE

POWER HOUSE BELOW THE OTHER .

THE TAIL RELEASE WATER COMING FROM THE VERY FIRST POWER GENERATION UNIT WILL FLOW DOWN BY THE LAW OF GRAVITY BECAUSE OF THE AVAILABLE GRADIENT AND THE MAN MADE SLOPE.


AS THE GAP IN BETWEEN TWO INDEPENDENT POWER GENERATION UNITS WILL BE 1.5 KILOMETERS LONG WATER RELEASED FROM

THE FIRST UNIT TURBINE WILL GET STORED BECAUSE A GATE IS ALWAYS THERE IN FRONT OF EVERY UNIT.

WHEN THE WATER GETS COLLECTED INSIDE THE 1.5 KILOMETERS LONG GAP HAVING 100 METERS DIAMETER THE HYDRAULIC

PRESSURE INCREASES TO THE MAXIMUM BECAUSE WATER FROM THE OCEAN WILL KEEP ON COMING INSIDE THE UNDERGROUND

RIVER EVERY SECOND 96000 CUBIC METERS WATER RUNNING DOWN AT 9.6 METERS PER SECOND DOWN THE RIVER.

WITH THE MAXIMUM PRESSURE WATER IS RELEASED INSIDE THE SECOND POWER GENERATION STATION.

POINT FIVE:

LIKE WISE ALL POWER GENERATION UNITS WILL GET THE SAME METHOD OF RELEASING OF WATER.

EVERY POWER GENERATION UNIT WILL BE A CLUSTER OF INDEPENDENT REVOLVING GARDEN GATE MODEL TURBINES.

THESE TURBINES DON'T REQUIRE PEN STOCK TO DELIVER THE WATER BUT THE REVOLVING AND ROTATING GARDEN GATE MODEL

TURBINES TAKE THE RIVER HEAD AND THE VELOCITY HEAD TO ROTATE. THE FAST FLOWING RIVER WHICH IS SLANTINGLY DOWN

HAVING SUFFICIENT SLOPE WILL MOVE THE WATER DOWN BY THE LAW OF GRAVITY. EVERY INDEPENDENT POWER GENERATION UNIT

WILL HAVE A HEAD.

POINT SIX:

THE TOP OF THE FLOWING RIVER WILL BE OPEN TO THE SKY AND THE BOTTOM AND THE SIDES OF THE RIVER WILL BE HAVING A

SMOOTH METALLIC PADDING TO MINIMIZE THE FRICTIONAL LOSS .  

POINT SEVEN:

THE UNDERGROUND RIVER WILL HAVE 100 METERS DIAMETER FROM INLET TO THE OUTLET. THE TOTAL RIVER.

POINT EIGHT:

THE WATER RELEASED FROM THE LAST AND THE FINAL INDEPENDENT POWER  GENERATION UNIT WILL FLOW DOWN INTO THE TAIL

POND.

POINT NINE: PUMP STORAGE GENERATION

THE TAIL POND COLLECTED  WATER IS PUMPED OUT EVERY SECOND BECAUSE ONE SECOND WATER RELEASED 96000 CUBIC METERS

FROM THE OCEAN INTO THE WELL HAVING 250 METERS DIAMETER  AND WELL INTO THE 100 METERS DIAMETER UNDERGROUND RIVER

AND THE UNDERGROUND RIVER DELIVERING FROM THE 100 METERS DIAMETER RIVER OUTLET  INTO THE TAIL POND

METERS OCEAN WATER PER SECOND INTO A 30000 SQUARE METERS WATER RESERVOIR HAVING 5 METERS DEPTH
.

AS THE WATER FLOWING INTO THE TAIL POND WATER IS PUMPED OUT.

POINT TEN:

CALCULATE THE POWER GENERATED FROM P1 TO P20 AND REMOVE THE POWER CONSUMED BY 24000 MW PUMP TURBINES

THE PUMPS CONSUME 330000000 KW PER EVERY HOUR TO LIFT 96000 CUBIC METERS TO A TOTAL PUMP NET HEAD OF 350 METERS SO

THAT  THE PUMPED OUT WATER WILL FLOW BACK INTO THE OCEAN FROM ABOVE THE MAIN SEA LEVEL.

CALCULATE POWER GENERATED IN A 100 METERS DIAMETER RIVER HAVING 40 KILOMETERS LENGTH  AND 20 INDIVIDUAL POWER

GENERATION UNITS ARRANGED ONE BELOW THE OTHER AT A DISTANCE OF 1.5 KILOMETERS GAP.
ALWAYS REMEMBER THE UNDERGROUND RIVER IS OPEN TO SKY.



THE CONCEPT IS TO GENERATE GREEN ELECTRICITY AND MY APPLICATION IS OCEAN WATER IN UNDERGROUND RIVER. I AM THE ONLY PERSON TO DEVELOP THIS METHOD.

POINT 1)

THE VERY FIRST INDEPENDENT POWER GENERATION UNIT WILL BE AT -130 METERS. 10 METERS BELOW THE 120 METERS DEEP WELL.

THE DISTANCE FROM THE WELL TO THE 1st INDEPENDENT UNIT  WILL BE 1.5 KMS SLANTINGLY SLOPPILY DOWN AT 45 DEGREE ANGLE.

( 20 METERS DEEP OCEAN WATER X 100 METERS DEEP WELL , HAVING 250 METERS DIAMETER) THIS IS THE HYDRAULIC HEAD.

POWER GENERATED WILL BE

P= 10 (GRAVITY) X 96000 CUBIC METERS PER SECOND (VOLUME) X 130 METERS (HEAD) X .95 EFFICIENCY. = 118560000 KW OF GREEN ELECTRICITY GENERATED PER ONE HOUR.

THERE WILL BE 4 INDIVIDUAL 1000 MW GENERATOR-TURBINE. THE TURBINE MODEL WILL BE REVOLVING GARDEN GATE MODEL . THERE WILL BE NO PEN STOCK AND NO

FRICTIONAL LOSS. EACH GENERATOR - TURBINE WILL GET 24000 CUBIC METERS PER SECOND.

THIS ROTATING GARDEN GATE MODEL TURBINE WILL SPIN BY THE UNDERGROUND RIVER HEAD X VELOCITY HEAD
THE UNDERGROUND RIVER IS SLANTINGLY SLOPPILY DOWN  , KINDLY CALCULATE THE HYDRAULIC PRESSURE HEAD ON THE FIRST POWER GENERATION UNIT.

NOW THE POWER GENERATED IN THE SECOND INDEPENDENT UNIT i.e. P2.

IN THE 2nd  POWER GENERATION UNIT THE TECHNOLOGY USED WILL BE RUN OF THE RIVER HYDRAULICS. THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT POINT.
THE RIVER HEAD + THE RIVER VELOCITY HEAD WILL GIVE

CAN POWER BE GENERATED AND THE FORMULA FOR P2 POWER GENERATION CORRECT.

Where h = water depth, A = cross-sectional area, B = surface width, S0 = bottom slope; Sf = friction slope; V = velocity, g = gravity acceleration and = velocity of the moving abscissa x. Integration of Eq.(1c) leads to the law x = x(a,t)

THE UNDERGROUND RIVER STARTING AT -120 METERS FROM UNDER THE VERY BOTTOM OF THE 120 METERS DEEP WELL.

THE UNDERGROUND RIVER WILL BE HAVING A 100 METERS DIAMETER FROM THE IN LET TO THE OUTLET AND THE RIVER VELOCITY WILL BE 9.6 METERS PER SECOND.

(IF THE DIAMETER IS REDUCED THE WATER VELOCITY WILL INCREASE SAY 60 METERS IS THE RIVER DIAMETER THEN 16 METERS PER SECOND IS THE VELOCITY.)
THE DESIGN OF THE TURBINE IS REVOLVING GARDEN GATE MODEL.

THE WATER RUNNING DOWN THE SLANTINGLY SLOPPILY RIVER @ 9.6 METERS PER SECOND VELOCITY HAVING A RIVER HEAD OF 100 METERS

 ( THE RIVER DIAMETER IS 100 METERS FROM IN LET TO OUT LET )

POWER GENERATED AT P2 WILL BE.

P = 10 ( GRAVITY) X 96000 CUBIC METERS PER SECOND (VOLUME) X  20 METERS (HEAD) X .95 % EFFICIENCY = 18240000 KW OF GREEN ELECTRICITY GENERATED PER HOUR.

THERE ARE 19 UNITS ARRANGED ONE BELOW THE OTHER IN CASCADING ARRANGEMENT THERE BY ALL 19 UNITS WILL GENERATE 346560000 KW EVERY ONE HOUR.

OUT OF A 100 METERS DIAMETER UNDER GROUND RIVER HEAD.
  EXAMPLE : IF WE WILL TAKE JUST 20 METERS RIVER HEAD  OUT OF THE TOTAL 100 METERS RIVER HEAD.

THE TOP PORTION OF THE UNDERGROUND RIVER IS OPEN TO SKY AND THE BOTTOM AND THE SIDES WILL HAVE A PADDING OF SMOOTH METALLIC PADDING TO REDUCE

FRICTION LOSS.

ACTUALLY WHAT IS THE HEAD FOR P2 INDEPENDENT POWER GENERATION UNIT ( ALWAYS REMEMBER A   KIND NOTE: THE ROTATING GARDEN GATE TURBINE MODEL WILL


HAVE NO PEN STOCK  BUT ONLY THE ( VELOCITY OF THE RIVER HEAD + THE RIVER HEAD )  TOTAL RIVER HEAD 100 METERS.
